TRAVELING TO BIG BEND RANCH The Pierre
Airport can accommodate all private aircraft with a 6,800 foot airstrip. major airline flights arrive at the Pierre Airport daily. Big Bend Ranch probably has the easiest access from the airport of any lodge
in central South Dakota. A short but beautiful 25 minute drive along the mighty Missouri River will bring you to Big Bend Ranch. The beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife that you will see will
help set the stage for your never to be forgotten trip.
DIRECTIONS Directions from Pierre Airport to Big Bend Ranch should you decide to drive yourself rather than use our van service are as follows:
1) From the terminal, turn right onto the road of the airport.
2) Then turn left (south) onto the "Truck Bypass", travel approximately 2 miles.
3) Then turn left on South Dakota Highway 34, travel approximately 26
miles until reaching blue and white signs that read "Big Bend Ranch."
4) Turn right onto Joe Creek Road (gravel).
5) Travel approximately 2 miles and turn into Big Bend Ranch.
6) Please check in at "Headquarters".
